BIA Cares enjoyed another successful fundraising program to support the 9th Annual Backpack Drive. Thank you, BIA San Diego members, for your generosity and support of our community.
This year’s donations will again support Elderly Love, an organization supporting grandparents who have stepped up to the plate to foster and provide for their grandchildren. These backpacks will be stocked with school supplies for the upcoming year. Additionally, BIA Cares will donate backpacks to Urban Street Angels who provide support and transitional housing for San Diego homeless youth (ages 18-25) while engaging them in sustainable job programs, support services, mental health counseling and integrative medicine.
We will update you when the giveaway programs for both worthy organizations are held in the near future.
