A Chair of the Stars, 2023 Icon Awards Chair

Chairing the BIA San Diego Icon Awards is no small task. This year’s chair took the challenge head on and brought in record numbers exceeding this event’s original sponsorship goals. Nichole Weinman with JAAM Electric & Low Voltage has been involved in the BIA for more than 20 years, attending numerous events throughout the years and working with some of BIA’s greatest. Nichole puts forth her best every day for the betterment of our industry and she exceeded her best as the Chair of the Icon Awards. Nichole helped raise over $75,000 in sponsorship dollars to help fund this event that honors those in our industry. She contributed countless hours reaching out to various BIA member companies, not only for their sponsorships, but for their nominations as well. Nichole sees the importance of recognizing the individuals who work behind the scenes and those who put forth their best every day for the betterment of our industry. Nichole also sits on the board of the Specialty Contractors Council of BIA San Diego which represents the trades of our industry. She has a true passion and love for the work she does for this industry. She is an advocate for donating her time and her involvement and she did so evidently as our 2023 Icon Chair.
