After almost thirty-one years in our Association, BIA of San Diego County will say goodbye to Nancy Diamond, its Vice President of Operations. Nancy runs the day-to-day operations of the Region’s leading housing advocacy non-profit Association. She does so with a passion and an attention to detail, second to no one. She has served the Association with great distinction, a fact which was recognized when she received the “Sherm Harmer Community Impact Award in 2022.” Thirty-one Boards of Directors, including its Senior Officers, relied on her; not one Chairman or Past President has been lost in the process.
With Nancy in leadership, BIASD’s non-profit “BIA Cares” has provided over 12,000 bikes and over 2,600 backpacks to school children and young adults; as well as over $3 million in grant funding to worthy causes in San Diego County.
BIASD insiders always commented that the true leadership of its organization was its Vice President of Operations, Nancy Diamond. Her last day in office will be June 30th. We will miss seeing this heart of the organization.
