Carlsbad Climate Action Plan

The City of Carlsbad is currently updating its Climate Action Plan (CAP) and will pursue City Council action in 2024. The current plan sets ambitious targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but staff has been directed to return with an even more ambitious plan that reduces GHG levels further (beyond what the State of California already requires) and at a faster speed. You can learn more about this issue here.
